Communication service

Document acties

The Communication Department safeguards and supports the image of the BRIC towards the outside world, but also within the organisation itself.

Internal communications

Internally we ensure the smooth and correct flow of information between General Management and employees, and vice versa.

The internal communications are aimed at involving employees in their organisation and their daily work. They are also aimed at improving working conditions, productivity and efficiency.

The current channels for this are an electronic newsletter, the intranet, corporate events and team building sessions.

External communications

Externally the Communications department reinforces our image with customers, the public, partners, local authorities, etc.

The objectives include raising the recognition of the brand name, presenting a clearer picture of our strengths and expertise, giving our existing and potential customers a clear overview of the services we offer.

Today we do this as broadly as possible: you are now on our website, we have a Twitter profile (@cirb_cibg), we produce an annual report, send our customers an electronic newsletter, regularly bring out white papers on specific subjects.

Once per year we bring together the cream of the crop of the ICT and political world at our “Annual Conference” which is often talked about for months, and which is gradually becoming a reference in the Brussels Capital Region, with keynote speakers from Belgium and abroad.

Press

In addition, the Communications department is the perfect partner for the general, regional and specialised press. Together with our minister in charge we organise press meetings where we like to present our latest projects.

As a journalist you can put all your specific questions regarding our organisation to our spokesperson Tony De Coux or on 02 600 1353.

Finally we also manage the portal site of the Brussels Capital Region: http://www.brussels.irisnet.be/.
